Rigitone certified ‘Clean air Gold’
Gyproc’s Rigitone acoustic boards have been awarded the highest clean air rating by international testing and inspection body, Intertek.
The award of Intertek’s ‘Clean Air Gold’ rating follows CPDH emissions testing by the globally recognized testing and certification body and means that the high-performance acoustic boards now qualify as low emitting materials, earning additional points towards WELL and LEED environmental certifications.
Robust and easy to install, the fully perforated gypsum boards are widely used in a range of building environments to control sound and improve aesthetics. The new certification is expected to make them more popular in offices, schools and private residences where indoor air pollution is a growing concern.
The new rating applies to all Rigitone patterns available in the Gyproc Middle East standard range.
